Creating a Special Bond

We always encourage you to have a support person with you during labor and delivery. In addition, to your support person, your doula is always welcomed as well.

After the birth, mother and baby go through an important attachment process. If possible, your baby can remain with you during your recovery period. Your nurse will check in on you and your baby. You may begin breast-feeding during this time, with your nurse or birth coach's help if necessary, and you can find the supplies and support you need in our breast-feeding boutiques. At Baylor, we support you and your child during this special time.

Baylor Health Care System's obstetric services feature advanced technology and comfortable labor and delivery rooms to meet your needs and care for your new baby. Search online to find a physician or call 1.800.4BAYLOR for women's health care in Dallas-Fort Worth.
