Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs 

Baylor's pulmonary rehabilitation programs are dedicated to providing quality care to people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), and helping them return to a more active and productive lifestyle.

Because of breathing problems, the lives of people with emphysema and chronic bronchitis are often sedentary. This inactivity can lead to a loss of physical strength and, eventually, a lack of motivation in everyday activities such as taking a walk, visiting a friend, or enjoying a hobby.
