Dr. Matthew Shuford 

Urologist on the Medical Staff at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas

Matthew Shuford, M.D., has been a board-certified practicing urologist on the medical staff at Baylor Dallas for three years. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his training and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

 

Dr. Shuford is one of a handful of surgeons in North Texas who specialize in robotically-assisted radical prostatectomy and has performed hundreds of procedures using this technology since it was first introduced at Baylor in 2005.

 

He has published many studies and authored numerous journal articles on prostate cancer and is a member of the American Board of Urology and the American Urological Association.
