North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grant
Baylor Plano was awarded a $31,500 grant on March 17, 2007 by the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to deliver education, breast health services and digital screening mammograms to an underserved population of women who historically do not seek early detection, prevention, or breast health education.

The Baylor Diabetes Education Center at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano received American Diabetes Association (ADA) Recognition for another 3 years. Baylor is one of the largest multisite programs in the country. ADA Recognition is necessary for DSMT (diabetes self-management training) reimbursement from Medicare.
