Scott Peek - President of Baylor Specialty Health Centers. Scott Peek is president of Baylor Specialty Health Centers where he oversees Baylor Specialty Hospital, an inpatient hospital that cares for chronically ill patients who need additional medical care before returning home, and the hospital's satellite locations in Garland and Irving. He also oversees Our Children's House at Baylor, a licensed pediatric hospital that specializes in the treatment of developmental birth disorders, traumatic injury or severe illness as well as its outpatient centers located in Allen, Coppell, Dallas, Frisco, Grapevine, Irving, Waxahachie and the Rockwall facility.

Our Children's House at Baylor in Dallas is currently undergoing a $13.6 million expansion, scheduled for completion in January 2007. The expansion will allow for much-needed additional patient beds and therapy space, an outpatient surgery center and physician's clinic.

Previously, Peek served as vice president of Baylor Medical Center at Garland, where he was responsible for clinical services, such as heart and vascular services, physical medicine and radiology, as well as non-clinical support departments including access services and food services. Peek also serves on Baylor Health Care System's Service Excellence Council and Corporate Compliance Committee.

Prior to joining Baylor Garland, Peek was a financial analyst at Richardson Regional Medical Center and before that, he was at the accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand where he represented many health care clients.

A resident of Lake Highlands, Peek has been active in Young Life since 1997 as a volunteer leader for junior high and high school students and as a committee member of Friends of Young Life.

Peek received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
