Dengue fever

Treatment

There is no specific treatment for dengue fever. Fluids are necessary if there are signs of dehydration. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is used to treat a high fever. Aspirin should be avoided.

Outlook (Prognosis)

Full recovery is expected.
