There are an estimated 15 million Americans who suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Over-the-counter antacids and prescription medications may help some heartburn sufferers, but more than a million people need more individualized treatment.

Established in 2001, as the first facility of it kind in North Texas, the Baylor Heartburn Center is designed to treat heartburn, and has a specialized team skilled in diagnostic techniques and treatments to help patients with heartburn receive comprehensive analysis and treatment.
