Inpatient Rehabilitation
Brain injuries and the disabilities they cause are extremely complex. Often, patients with seemingly similar injuries do not have the same level of disability. During inpatient rehabilitation at Baylor, each patient is provided with an individualized treatment plan, based on an evaluation performed by members of an interdisciplinary treatment team to try to meet the goals of you and your family. If your evaluation shows you are able to consistently follow functional commands such as "propel your wheelchair" and "brush your hair," you are appropriate for the active in patient rehabilitation program.
