What to Expect After Discharge

When you experience a traumatic brain injury, your rehabilitation often continues following discharge from Baylor. One-month post discharge, you will have an appointment with a rehabilitation physician where your progress will be monitored and any medical issues addressed. You will be evaluated for any needed outpatient services or clinics and scheduled for additional follow-up appointments at six-months and one-year post discharge.
