Spinal Cord Injuries

A spinal cord injury occurs when there is damage to the spinal cord that results in a loss of function including mobility or feeling. This can occur either from a trauma such as a car accident or disease such as spina bifida.

Because each injury is different and the needs of each patient is different, Baylor works develops an individualized course of treatment and rehabilitation to help a variety of spinal cord injuries including:
