What to Expect After Discharge

When you experience a spinal cord injury, your treatment continues upon discharge from Baylor. One-month post discharge, you will have an appointment with a rehabilitation physician where your progress will be monitored and any medical issues addressed. You will be evaluated for any needed outpatient services or clinics and scheduled for additional follow-up appointments at 6-months and one-year post discharge.
