Fibromyalgia Program
Fibromyalgia can cause widespread muscle, ligament and tendon pain and extreme fatigue.
In 2007, the Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas established the Baylor Fibromyalgia Program to help patient who suffer from this chronic condition.
The Fibromyalgia Program offers an integrative approach that combines education, neuropsychology, physical therapy and occupational therapy. We offer traditional therapy as well as aquatic exercise. Participants meet as a group twice a week for four weeks, three hours at a time, as well individually with therapists.
