Golf Performance Program

Nearly 80 percent of golfers suffer injuries at some time. Golf injuries are usually related to poor swing mechanics, causing a loss of mobility, flexibility and strength. Baylor's Golf Performance Program offers patients who golf treatment by a licensed physical therapist specifically trained in managing golf-related injuries.

Through this program, physical therapists use a variety of treatments including manual therapy, Pilates and specific golf-related strength and flexibility exercises. This therapy works to increase flexibility of the swing muscles, increase the spine and extremity mobility and increase the strength of the muscles that support the body throughout the golf swing.
