It's a Guy Thing
Nearly 1,000 men took control of their health and participated in Baylor’s “It’s a Guy Thing” health day last month. Six Baylor facilities in and around Dallas hosted the event, which was dedicated solely to men’s health and education. Complimentary breakfast and door prizes including autographed footballs and gift certificates were all part of the festivities. Attendees received complimentary screenings for cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, lung capacity and body mass index. Physicians and allied health professionals were also on site giving educational presentations on sleep disorders, cardiology, fitness, urology and other common health conditions.
