Scoliosis Surgery

The Baylor Scoliosis Center offers surgical options for many scoliosis patients who never thought their condition was treatable. Scoliosis surgeries are serious and complex and there are many steps to these procedures. For pediatric patients, this usually takes between two and three hours and adults take from four to six hours. Adults sometimes need more than one procedure one done from the front and one done from the back. Sometimes this can be done in one operation but other times, it is best to separate it into two procedures.
