Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Dallas - Carroll Avenue 

The skilled therapists at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR) Outpatient Services clinic in Dallas on Carroll Avenue offer a variety of therapy services for patients suffering from physical conditions related to aging, gender, illness and injury.

Our goal is to provide the high quality treatment and compassionate service needed to improve quality of life.

Our Staff

Center Manager/Physical Therapist:
Jared Gillespie, PT, DPT
Jared received his bachelor’s in exercise science from the University of Kansas in 2007 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2010. He also has completed spinal rehabilitation training, is involved in ACL prevention, and is pursuing the Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification. His clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, orthopedics and post-surgical rehabilitation. 
Physical Therapist: Jason Wishin, Sr., PT, DPT, CSCS
Jason graduated from Barry University in 2008 with a master’s in exercise science. In 2013, he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Jason, a college baseball pitcher, has earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the Washington Nationals. His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports medicine and athletes of all disciplines.

Physical Therapist: Jessica Wulke, PT, DPT, CSCS
Jessica received her B.S. in integrated physiology in 2008 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010, both from the University of Iowa. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has attended multiple sports-related continuing education courses specifically for football and baseball players. She is pursuing Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, orthopedics and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Patient Service Specialist: Traci Foster
Traci has worked in the health care environment for 18 years and knows what is important to patients. She is friendly, highly organized and is responsible for scheduling and insurance verification for all patients.


Patient Service Specialist: Amber Pinkney
A native of Tyler, Texas, Amber worked in the medical field as a clerk for seven years before moving to the Metroplex and becoming a member of the BIR team. She is currently enrolled in a college medical assistant program.
